We sell a variety of pop culture, novelty, and geek culture stuff. There will always be constants, like TCG merchandise and D&D accessories, but there will always be variables too. We’ll have that shirt you just can’t get anywhere else. That sticker from that Netflix show. That plush from your favorite video game that you’ve not seen in other local retailers.
We’re focused on reducing our bag usage. While we will not be using traditional plastic bags, disposable bag usage of any kind is still harmful. We’ve never liked the idea of charging our customers for the bags as a “bag tax” either. That’s why we implemented our own punch card that rewards you for not using a disposable bag, instead of punishing you for using one.
Once per day, we’ll punch your card if you don’t use one of our disposable bags and you make at least a $5 purchase. Pretty simple right?
A) carry the item out sans a bag
B) bring your own reusable bag or
C) purchase a reusable bag from us
Once you fill the card with 10 punches, you get a free beverage of your choosing!
We sell coffee, tea, smoothies, and lite vegetarian & vegan fare. We serve you freshly ground and delicious coffee beverages with unforgettable names. Whether you’re an Initiative (hot coffee) lover, an Energyroot (hot tea) fanatic, or a NeverMeltIce (frappe) stan, we promise to serve you a one-of-a-kind experience with your coffee!
We have the privilege of being the ONLY exclusively vegetarian establishment in Decatur! In addition to that, half of our menu is vegan, with almost everything on the menu vegan-i-fiable!
We couldn’t forget about the desserts. We’re serving you homemade cookies that you won’t be able to stop thinking about. They’re delicious; they kinda have to be because Seth’s favorite food group is chocolate chip cookie.

Our tables on our sales floor are always free to play! Bring your own cards & games and come hang out! If you don’t have a party to play with, we will always do our best to shove you together with other players and “make friends”!
We have a room set up for games that you’ll love coming to use. It’s part of our “Pay to Play for a Day” program. It’s pretty simple. You pay $5 a head for your party and then you get to use our space to play your games! Not only will you be provided this space in the coolest store in town, but you’ll also be able to rent games from us if you don’t have your own planned.
If we don’t have an item you’re interested in, and you want us to order it for you, we will do our best to get it!

Ultimately, we aren’t just selling coffee and gifts. It’s an experience. When you walk into Current, you’re going to see some stuff you can’t find in other local retailers. Hear some tunes playing that you’re gonna be googling the lyrics to so you can listen later. Drinking a coffee named after a video game item. Where else are you gonna go live this fantasy?
